ABOUT LBASTIAN

I’m Leo Torres, the artist behind Lbastian—a senior photo editor, compositor and 3D artist based in the New York City area.

For more than 15 years, I worked with the internationally recognized JLP Studios, helping produce commercial imagery distributed through Getty Images, iStock, Adobe Stock and Blend Images. My role required reviewing photoshoots containing 2,000–3,000 frames and selecting approximately 30 exceptional images with the strongest expressions, gestures, composition and storytelling potential.

My work goes beyond traditional retouching. I combine the strongest elements from multiple photographs, integrate natural-looking environments into studio productions, and refine lighting, perspective, color, shadows and texture to create one seamless final image. My background in photography and videography, advanced Photoshop expertise and experience with 3D allow me to approach every project with both technical precision and a trained visual eye.
